History
In April 2023 CASA celebrated its 40th Birthday.
The organisation was started in 1983 by volunteers to address the increasing number of homeless families in Mackay. Since then CASA has grown from providing crisis accommodation and support to a Tier 3 Community Housing Provider. In addition, CASA provides other programs such as Outreach, HomeStay, NILS, NDIS and Home Modifications.
We are fortunate to receive support from the Mackay community.
